Calling All Protestants!

For centuries the Roman Catholic institution engaged in overt acts of hideous torture and murder, all the while claiming to be doing the work of God in the earth. In more recent times her tactics have become far more stealth, and much more clever and cunning. Since the Second Vatican Council (or Vatican II), it has been the objective of the Roman organization to bring her “wayward daughters,” the Protestant churches of the world, back into her embrace. Make no mistake about it; the Roman Catholic so-called “church” is a powerful political entity with nothing more than an elaborately manufactured religious façade. As a religious organization this “church” is able to march into country after country - buying up real estate, establishing monasteries, convents, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, orphanages and so on, all in the name of charity and “Christian education,” when in reality it is her intention to affect and control the minds of that country’s citizens from their earliest youth. One Roman Pontiff was once quoted as having said, “Give me a child until they are finished with High School and we will have them for life.” The old Roman Empire sought to subdue and control the world. The new Roman Empire desires nothing less. But using Christianity as it’s front, the new Roman Empire, which is nothing less than the ancient Babylonian system of religion mixed with politics, seeks to accomplish the same ends. The time is NOW for the Protestant church to arise and reaffirm its opposition to the doctrines, dogmas, traditions, and practices of Rome, which clearly contradict the teachings of God’s Sacred Word!
The Word of God is not at all silent about the Roman Catholic church. The book of Revelation is full of prophecies concerning her eventual judgment and demise. Many preachers today have become so beguiled by this crafty organization that it is seldom heard preached anymore that the Roman Catholic church is indeed the mystical woman, or the great whore of Babylon, described in Revelation chapter seventeen. But as the end of this age more swiftly approaches with every passing day, it becomes more and more imperative that saints and preachers alike discover the truth of this matter and make it their solemn commitment and vow to remain Protestant until the very last breath they breathe.
Every major reformer since and including Martin Luther has preached that the Roman Catholic organization, and the Papacy in particular are indeed the beast described in Revelation chapters seventeen and eighteen. Matthew Henry, Wycliffe, Calvin, Knox, and so many more held fast to this position. But of course, most of these men lost their lives due to the violent actions of this “church” gone mad during the Dark Ages. Sadly, many modern-day Protestants have let down their guard and are beginning to believe the massive PR campaigns put forth by Rome in an effort to redeem her reputation. Some organizations have even gone so far as to enter into secret negations with Rome with the goal being to see if they might not one day soon be reunited with their “spiritual mother.”
Rome is by no means the mother of all Christianity. This lie is as fowl and full of historical inaccuracies as are the teachings that Peter was the first Pope (on one hand the Roman church claims not to have officially existed until centuries after the apostles were dead, whereas on the other hand, when it proves convenient, Rome claims to be able to draw a clear timeline back to Peter as it’s first pope), Peter died in Rome after serving as Bishop of the church there (why would Peter have even bothered going to Rome to pastor when the specific responsibility for the Gentile church was placed at the feet of the Apostle Paul?), and so on!
We must reexamine the Biblical evidence and be fully persuaded in our own minds concerning this matter, before we too become beguiled and deceived by this evil organization. For the Word of God promises that all who will become a part of her will share in the plagues by which she will be visited in the last days. “Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever (a) man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Rome will pay for the many horrendous sins of her past.
She cannot escape the judgment of God Almighty. It is her sheer arrogance that causes her to even believe that she is above the condemnation of our Creator. Had she ever truly repented of her past deeds, she might have been forgiven. But the mention of past sins and calls for prayers of forgiveness are merely a ruse and not the least bit genuine, as she continues to this day to manipulate governments, inspire wars, and order the murder of those who would stand in the way of her evil plan to one day rule the world! THIS IS IN HER OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS, FOLKS! This organization has established ON PAPER that it is her intention to one day rule the earth. Obviously this organization has no real conviction in the return of Jesus Christ, or else she would not be trying to usurp Him by subduing the world for herself, all the while enjoying the wealth and opulence of the most wealthy institution on the face of planet earth.
REVELATION 17:1-6
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
1b. I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
This woman is described in prophetic language as “sitting upon many waters” which implies that she has worldwide influence over PEOPLE. There has been very little time in the history of the Christian church that Rome did not have worldwide influence. During the time of our Lord, she was the capital city of the entire known world. Rome was also commonly referred to as “Babylon” as she was the hotbed of paganism and heathenism, coupled with idolatry and every conceivable form of wickedness and fornication. The Roman organization has membership in the billions, reaching into virtually every nation on earth.
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
The entity described here is said to have “commit fornication” with the kings of the earth. This clearly speaks to her political nature. Common men do not have the ability to even deal or speak with royalty. But this organization has the ability to not only speak with kings, but also to “sleep with” them, meaning that she is able to offer mutually beneficial services. She can do for them, if they will do for her. Fornication is used in prophetic writings to speak of spiritual compromise.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Watch the pageantry of the Roman church when a pontiff dies or a new one is installed. What are the most commonly used colors? Scarlet (Red); the color of cardinals, spoken of in Scripture only when describing sin and ungodly filth and impurity.
Isaiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Lamentations 4:5
They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.
Purple; the color of royalty. Our Lord was “lent” a purple garment so that the Roman soldiers might mock Him as a king.
John 19:1-5
1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. 4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. 5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
Today the Roman pontiff wears purple, as a king, when the Bible clearly teaches…
John 13:16
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
1 Peter 5:1-4
1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Luke 22:25-27
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
Matthew 23:8-12
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
What is the central figure in the Roman mass? A golden cup which her priests lift up toward heaven and then declare to contain “the actual blood of Christ.” This very claim constitutes an abomination, as God has declared that the drinking of blood is an abomination. This prohibition is also repeated by the apostles in the New Testament for the Gentile churches to observe.
Acts 15:19-20
19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Her name begins with the word “Mystery.” Like her predecessor Babylon, she is a very secretive organization. Much of her belief system is based upon the concept of mysteries… The Roman Catholic church is full of so-called, “mysteries:” The mystery of the mass, the mystery of transubstantiation, the mystery of the trinity. Babylon is a title commonly attributed to Rome in the days of John who wrote this book. Like Rome, Babylon was a great city, once the capital of both a great political and religious system that had influence around the world.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
In order to be inebriated by any substance, one must have consumed that substance to excess. The Word of God is here telling us that this woman has gone to excess, killing and destroying men and woman of God! During the course of the Inquisitions, the Roman Catholic organization brutally and heartlessly murdered over 66,000,000 souls! That is eleven times the number killed by Adolph Hitler during the course of his reign of terror! And this does not include those she murdered in later years, as well as earlier times than the centuries long period of Inquisition. The policies that wrought the Inquisitions were embraced and upheld by one pope after another, for centuries! Do you honestly believe that her goals are so different today, or are her methods merely different?
In the course of his vision, his angelic guide tells John that he will clearly be shown the mystery of this woman. The Roman Catholic organization, as well as many false Protestant leaders today will try to suggest that the actual identity of this woman is difficult to know. THIS IS NOT TRUE! The angel clearly states…
Revelation 17:7
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
So, here we see that the angel states clearly that he will CLEARLY REVEAL to John, as well as to we the readers of this book, the true identity of this woman, and of the beast that she rides upon. This clearly indicates that the mysterious nature of this woman and the beast are going to be clarified and made plain. Two particular verses in this chapter help to make her identity abundantly clear. Satan wants us to believe her identity is difficult to assertain, but it is not! The truth of the matter is, the angel clearly states in verse eight of this chapter that it is only those whose names do not appear in the Lambs Book of Life that will be surprised and amazed by the beast when it finally reveals it’s true nature and purpose.
Revelation17:8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 17:9
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Revelation 17:18
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
At the time of John’s writing the book of Revelation, there was ONLY ONE GREAT CITY that set within the perimeters of seven mountains. That city was Rome. At the time of John’s writing this book, there was only ONE GREAT CITY that served as the capital of the known world, and in so doing “ruled over the kings of the earth,” and that city was ROME! At the time of John’s writing of this prophetic book, THERE WAS ONLY ONE GREAT CITY, which was known throughout the known world as “Babylon,” and that city, was Rome! Even the Roman Catholic Encyclopedia acknowledges all of these facts, however, it tries to diminish the reality that the Roman Organization is the beast and the city of Rome itself is the woman spoken of in Revelation chapter seventeen by suggesting that John was describing Pagan Rome, before Christianity. But saints, this cannot possibly be true! The city of Rome, described as a woman, is said to be a whore or a harlot, meaning that she has been unfaithful to her husband! What husband has Rome ever had before she claimed to be the seat of Christianity and the very bride of Christ?
The Roman organization goes to great lengths in an effort to bring the validity of the book of Revelation into question. In so doing, she assumes that she will be able to render useless the clarion warnings of John concerning her bloody end in the last days. Again I must repeat, EVERY MAJOR REFORMER SINCE MARTIN LUTHER HAS HELD FAST TO THE CONVICTION THAT ROME AND THE ROMAN ORGANIZATION ARE THAT WOMAN AND THAT BEAST DESCRIBED IN REVELATION CHAPTERS SEVENTEEN AND EIGHTEEN! The Roman Catholic church has in far more ways than one usurped the authority and position of the Lord Jesus Christ as the head of His own church. The Papacy is but one example of her efforts at doing so. Her efforts at establishing a rich and “glorious” kingdom here on earth are also proof of her efforts to achieve in herself what the true church of Jesus Christ awaits the Lord’s arrival for Him to accomplish. Look at what John records in Revelation concerning her attempts at sitting as a queen, having no husband, and yet claiming not to be widowed….
Revelation 18:7-8
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
The church of Jesus Christ is described as a bride, but never as a queen! For Rome to say that she sits as a queen and “am no widow,” she would have to be bragging that she had literally unseated or usurped her husband, so that she could sit in the throne of power in His place! What evil arrogance! And then she goes so far as to say that she will “see no sorrow.” This organization has not only done all this great evil over the course of centuries, deceiving millions, but then she has the gall to boast that she will get away with everything that she has done, and there will be no sorrow or judgment come her way. How wrong she is!
To further see and understand that the entity described as a beast in John’s writings is indeed the Roman organization, and that the woman, described as a great city, surrounded by seven mountains, which serves as the seat of government or capital of that organization is indeed Rome; let us now look further at John’s descriptions of these two entities.
Revelation 17:15-18
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Here John is told that this city has influence and power around the world. People of every nation and tongue (language) are under her powerful influence. Rome boasts over a billion members around the globe. No religious organization on the face of planet earth has its headquarters in a city surrounded by seven hills, which at the time of John’s writing the book of Revelation could be said to “reign over the kings of the earth, as did ancient Rome in Biblical times. No other city can claim to be the headquarters or capital for a religious entity that has membership in the multiplied millions, even billions, throughout the earth! And look at how this city is described by John in terms of her wealth and opulence:
Revelation 18:9-23
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Look at that “shopping list!” What other city in the entire world has this kind of a shopping list associated with a great religious power or entity? As one reads the above list, all one need do is watch the pageantry of Rome on television as they bury one pontiff and install the next to see that 80% of the items mentioned above are used and paraded in the course of these activities alone. Many of the precious stones and pearls, precious metals, and costly wooden goods are all incorporated into the vestments worn by the cardinals and priests. The pope himself is bedecked as a king, lives in luxury and splendor, and is served day and night as a political sovereign. And yet millions are deceived into thinking that this man is some humble servant of God! This man lives in a palace! The opulence that he is surrounded by far surpasses that of most so-called secular leaders. But in reality, the pontiff is far more than a religious leader. Let us look at what the Catholic Encyclopedia says of his duties and titles:
POPE: (Ecclesiastical Latin papa from Greek papas, a variant of pappas father, in classical Latin pappas -- Juvenal, "Satires" 6:633). The title pope, once used with far greater latitude (see below, section V), is at present employed solely to denote the Bishop of Rome, who, in virtue of his position as successor of St. Peter, is the chief pastor of the whole Church, the Vicar of Christ upon earth. Besides the bishopric of the Roman Diocese, certain other dignities are held by the pope as well as the supreme and universal pastorate: he is Archbishop of the Roman Province, Primate of Italy and the adjacent islands, and sole Patriarch of the Western Church.
According to Roman Catholic teaching, the Pope of Rome is not only the head of the church, bur HE HAS NO EARTHLY AUTHORITY OR SUPERIOR! He is subject to no law outside of that which is created within the walls of Vatican City! Many former priests and converted Vatican insiders have testified to the hideous evil and intrigue carried out within the walls of the Vatican - daily. Murder, extortion, and bribery in the name of the church, are perfectly acceptable, as there is no law but their own within Vatican City. As the saying goes, “Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.”
Revelation 18:14-17
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
This city is described as being of unmatched wealth and splendor. Entire industries shall fail and companies shall fold when God destroys this city – because the specific goods she purchased from them will no longer be needed. Obviously this would speak of the religious-specific goods and services regularly required by Rome for the carrying out of her religious exercises and activities. The vestments, altar adornments, pulpit adornments, robes, organs, bells, candles, etc. shall no longer be needed, for this evil entity shall all at once have been judged and her capital destroyed.
Revelation 18:17-23
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
God’s people, in heaven, are called upon to rejoice over the destruction of this great city. She has destroyed, manipulated, perverted, and diluted the teachings and doctrines of God’s holy Apostles, and as such she has established herself as an enemy of God’s holy apostles and prophets! Look at the list of musicians that will no longer be heard in her. No more candles will be lit within her walls. No more weddings shall be performed within her chapels. Her deceptions and sorceries shall be brought to a crashing conclusion! Praise the name of Jesus!
Children, if ever there has been a time when God’s people must recommit themselves to the principals and separation of Protestant reform, today is the day! Satan is trying to deceive ALL the church. He has the Roman Catholic people deceived already, but now he wants to bring the non-Catholic churches back under the Roman hand so that he may usher in the age of the anti-Christ, whom the Roman pontiff will endorse as the returned Christ. Now is the time for diligence. Now is the time to insist that truth prevail.
Revelation 18:1-6
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
